An oceanfront Ponte Vedra Beach mansion closed for $17.5 million last week — just $25,000 less than its original May asking price.

While some blue chip properties along gilded Ponte Vedra Boulevard have slashed prices in recent months, it took less than four months days for the property to change hands at close to its original number.

Situated on a 3/4-acre waterfront lot, the 6,557 sq. ft. Spanish-style home at 75 Ponte Vedra Boulevard features 4 bedroom and 4.5 baths.

The property — owned for many years by a real estate developer — overlooks the Ponte Vedra Inn and Club golf course and offers direct ocean views, according to the listing by John Wolfel Real Estate.

Other waterfront estates on the storied stretch have seen notable price cuts, with 1201 Ponte Vedra Boulevard lowering its ask by 27% since originally listing in 2022 — going from $16,960,000 to its current $12.9 million ask.

The home at 421 Ponte Vedra Boulevard sold late last month for $9 million after a $2 million price decrease, records show.
