Fueled by new construction, St. Johns County’s July housing inventory is up by 70 percent from the same month last year, according to Realtor.com data.
In July 2023, there were a total of 1,596 homes and apartments for sale.
That number shot up to 2,719 last month, the numbers reveal.
That figure was nearly identical to the last pre-pandemic period of July 2019, when there were 2,721 homes on the market.
Inventory dipped to 1,944 the following July before cratering to just 636 the following year as tghe COVID-19 pandemic froze the market.
