The 32259 ZIP code, which encompasses Fruit Cove, holds the title for the highest median household income on the First Coast, clocking in at a robust $149,213 as of December 2025.
Lined with upscale homes perched along the scenic St. Johns River, Fruit Cove has seen a sharp rise in affluence.
As of this week, 57 properties in the 32259 area are listed at over $1 million, underscoring its growing appeal among high-end buyers.
Trailing Fruit Cove, Nocatee’s 32081 ZIP code claimed second place with a median household income of $132,087.
Close behind was 32095 — which includes sections of several expanding communities — at $128,915.
The traditionally elite Ponte Vedra Beach (32082) came in fourth with $127,105, while World Golf Village’s 32092 rounded out the top five at $126,947.
Meanwhile, historic St. Augustine (32084) posted a more modest median household income of $75,518.
Countywide, St. Johns recorded a median household income of $108,800 — a 55% surge since 2015, when the figure stood at $70,000.
Back in 2005, it was just $57,000.
