Cash ruled everything around him.
The Florida Future Farmers Association State Convention kicked off last week with a stirring display of talent as Keystone Heights High School student Cash Compton delivered a blazing electric guitar performance of the National Anthem.
A member of the Keystone Heights FFA chapter, Compton took the stage on Thursday and wowed the crowd with a powerful rendition of the nation’s tune.
“Our very own Cash Compton brought the house down yesterday at Florida FFA State Convention performing the National Anthem on his electric guitar!” read a post on the Florida FFA’s official Facebook page. “It was a moment of pride, passion, and pure American spirit. Way to go, Cash!”
The performance set a galvanizing tone for the annual convention, which brings together FFA members from across the state.
“Cash is a market swine show exhibitor in the fair and has performed at many of our shows and the Youth Livestock Sale,” read a Facebook post from the organizers of the Clay County Fair.
According to its website, Florida FFA is the state’s primary agricultural youth organization, focused on preparing youth for careers in agriculture.
