The bell is getting closer to ringing at Nocatee’s newest house of learning.

The Citizen took a peek at the building site for a K-8 school just south of the Seabrook Village neighborhood last week and saw that the structure is already in place.

The school is slated to open for the 2026-2027 academic year, and the land was donated by the master-planned community’s developer, The Parc Group.

Pine Island Academy opened its doors for the 2021-22 school year, Palm Valley Academy greeted students in 2018, Valley Ridge Academy opened in 2014, and Ponte Vedra High School was christened in 2008.

Nocatee’s new school will accommodate approximately 1,500 students.

The community’s rapid expansion and popularity with young families has necessitated the establishment of several new schools.

Additional buildings are also coming to River Town and Silverleaf as those communities continue to populate.
