A Neptune Beach-based developer has proposed a St. Augustine mixed-use project featuring two hotels, a convenience store, a quick-service restaurant, and electric vehicle chargers, according to papers filed with the county.
The application proposes “hotels, fast food, convenience store, ponds and parking lot with EV Charging stations.”
The proposal was submitted this week for a tract along 207, east of I-95 and across from Otis A. Mason Elementary School.

The developer picked up the 8-acre parcel in September for $3.5 million.
Project plans show two hotel buildings with footprints of 14,724 square feet apiece, a 5,200-square-foot convenience store and a 1,515-square-foot fast food restaurant with a drive-thru.
Papers filed with the county also show eight gas pumps and 16 EV charging stations.
No vendors — including the hotels — are specified in the application.
The St. Johns County development review committee is scheduled to discuss the project on Jan. 14.
