St. Augustine is rolling out a temporary resident-only parking program during the Nights of Lights event to ensure local residents have access to street parking in the Flagler Model Land Company, Abbott Tract, and Uptown neighborhoods.
The program will enforce resident-only permit parking from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the Flagler Model Land Company area, and from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Abbott Tract and Uptown.
Residents can apply for temporary permits online or in person at the Customer Service Department at 50 Bridge Street.
Applications can also be emailed to [email protected].
Each property is eligible for up to four hangtags, which will be mailed to qualifying residents.
Parking enforcement will monitor these neighborhoods throughout the event and issue $100 citations for illegal parking, including violations by vehicles displaying workforce permits in residential areas.
Residents with questions can contact the parking supervisor, at 904-825-1090 or by email at [email protected].
More information is also available on the city’s website.
The temporary program is designed to balance parking for visitors attending Nights of Lights while ensuring residents maintain access to street parking in their neighborhoods.
