A 19-year-old man was arrested last week in connection with an armed robbery that took place late last month in the St. Johns Forest community, a gated St. Johns County neighborhood.
According to an arrest report, deputies responded on October 29 to a home in the complex following reports that a man had been held at gunpoint and robbed of his own firearm.
Investigators say the victim told deputies he was socializing with friends when two men — one of them later identified as Kristian Lowery — confronted him.

The victim told investigators that he knew the men through friends.
The suspects — one of whom wore Louis Vuitton shorts — allegedly pointed a Ruger handgun at the victim and took his Glock 22 pistol.
Both fled the scene in a vehicle driven by a woman.
The victim later provided deputies with the suspects’ social media handles, which led detectives to confirm their identities.
Using photographic lineups, the victim later positively identified Lowery and another man as the individuals involved.
Lowery was located on November 3 at a Dollar General on McCoy Way and detained for questioning.
Detectives reported finding an iPhone matching the one seen during the robbery. After being read his Miranda rights, Lowery initially spoke with investigators but later requested an attorney.
Lowery faces multiple felony charges, including robbery with a firearm, grand theft of a firearm, and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
He was booked into the St. Johns County Jail and his case is pending.
Deputies noted that the investigation remains active as they work to locate the alleged accomplice and determine whether other individuals were involved.
