A second suspect has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery that occurred late last month in the St. Johns Forest community, a gated neighborhood in St. Johns County.
St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office paperwork confirmed that an arrest warrant was issued earlier this month for 19-year-old Ashton Molder, who was taken into custody this week.
Molder is accused of acting alongside Kristian Lowery, 19, who was arrested last week.

According to an arrest report, deputies responded on October 29 to a home in the neighborhood after receiving a report that a man had been held at gunpoint and robbed of his own firearm.
The victim told investigators he had been socializing with friends when Lowery and Molder — acquaintances he knew through mutual friends — confronted him in a cul-de-sac.
The victim said Lowery pointed a handgun at him while Molder reached into his pocket, pulled out the victim’s .22-caliber firearm, racked a round and aimed it at the victim’s face.
The pair allegedly stole the victim’s Glock 22 pistol before fleeing in a vehicle driven by a woman.
The victim later provided detectives with the suspects’ social media accounts, which investigators used to help confirm their identities. He also positively identified both Lowery and Molder in photographic lineups.
Lowery was located on November 3 at a Dollar General on McCoy Way and detained for questioning. Detectives reported finding an iPhone matching the one seen during the robbery.
Lowery, who later requested an attorney after initially speaking, faces multiple felony charges, including robbery with a firearm, grand theft of a firearm and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Molder faces similar charges and his case is ongoing.
