The suspect attacked multiple victims, police said.

According to the report, the suspect was seen unsuccessfully trying to enter a locked, unoccupied white Toyota by pulling on the door handles.

He then allegedly approached a second white Toyota that was occupied by a woman.

Investigators said he approached the vehicle and began yelling for the driver to exit.

He allegedly tried to pull her from the driver’s seat by striking and pulling her. After failing to get her out, he entered the passenger side of the vehicle and continuing to strike the victim in an attempt to take control of the car.

The victim was able to escape the vehicle with her keys.

The affidavit states that several bystanders attempted to intervene. One individual was reportedly bitten on the right forearm, causing minor injury. Two hospital medical staff members were also allegedly struck multiple times while attempting to assist.
