Jeff and Genie McNally aren’t just moving their longtime downtown staple The Floridian — they’re multiplying it.

While the adored farm-to-table eatery preps for a splashy relocation from Spanish Street to a custom-built home on Anastasia Island, the power couple have also been quietly stirring a pair of flavorful new concepts set to debut in Summer 2025: Bea’s Fine Foods + All Day Café and Jefe’s Fish Wagon.

Bea’s Fine Foods + All Day Café

Think of it as The Floridian’s precocious younger sibling — spunky, stylish, and full of surprises.

Located at 9 Anastasia Boulevard, Bea’s will offer cafe-style breakfast, full-service lunch, coffee, dinner, and natural wines.

Named after Genie’s grandmother, the venture will adhere to to the comforting, unpretentious food of family kitchens, with inventive twists and local flair.

Come nightfall, the space will will morph into Bea’s Supper Club, dishing out intriguing small plates, cast-iron pizzas, and delectable cocktails in a cozy setting.

And yes, some of The Floridian’s fan-favorite dishes will be making special cameos.

Jefe’s Fish Wagon

Parked just down the road at Hornski’s Brewing Co. (100 Anastasia Blvd.), Jefe’s Fish Wagon will fold customizable seafood burritos, sandwiches, bowls, and salads from a retro-style food truck.

Inspired by backroad fish camps and the McNallys’ tropical getaways, the venue will offer up beachy bites that conjure visions of steel drums and cresting waves.

Meanwhile, Back at The Floridian…

The new home for The Floridian — located at 485 Old Beach Road — is currently under construction and expected to open in late fall or winter 2025.

Designed to evoke the bygone charm of old Florida cottages, the new space will feature a wraparound porch, side-yard garden, private dining areas, a walk-up drink window, and expanded capacity for up to 120 guests.

And yes — there will be on-site parking.

The last day of service at the original Spanish Street location will be July 28, marking the end of an era for the downtown diner.

But with three unique McNally-led experiences set to bloom, locals won’t have to go far to get their fix of comforting and clever cuisine.
