The voco St. Augustine, a 50-room upscale boutique hotel, has been sold.
The property, located between downtown St. Augustine and St. Augustine Beach on Anastasia Blvd., was purchased for $9 million, or roughly $180,000 per room.
The sale was listed and brokered by Lucas Mondino, partner at Kabani Hotel Group, according to a release from the firm.
The property went under contract and closed within 44 days after the broker listed it, Kabani said.
The hotel had previously been up for sale.
Builtin 2019, the three-story voco is among the newer hotels in the area and sought to attract tourists looking for a more modern aesthetic.
“St. Augustine is one of Florida’s most durable leisure markets with a walkable historic core, limited hotel supply growth, and strong year-round demand,” said Mondino. “The sale of this asset represents a win for both buyer and seller, driven by quality construction, location fundamentals, and brand equity.”
The hotel has 50 guest rooms and features a rooftop pool, fitness center, and bar and lounge spaces.
The identity of the new buyer was not disclosed.
