Here’s to Henry.
Ascendant Flagler College has earned a spot among the nation’s top undergraduate schools in The Princeton Review’s 2026 edition of The Best 391 Colleges.
The influential annual guide showcases standout institutions across the country based on surveys of administrators and exhaustive feedback from students about academics, campus life, and classroom experiences.
Only about 15% of the roughly 2,400 four-year colleges in the United States secure the distinction.

“We’re honored to be included on The Princeton Review’s Best Colleges list,” said President John Delaney. “What makes this recognition so meaningful is that it reflects the voices of our students—their perspectives on our academics, our community, and the opportunities they have to grow here at Flagler.”
A glowing profile in The Princeton Review highlights Flagler’s “excellent education in a beautiful location,” and notes the role of its required Core Experience in helping students adjust to college life and prepare for hands-on learning opportunities.
Students described faculty as knowledgable, energetic, approachable and available.
Downtown St. Augustine’s elegant architectural centerpiece enrolls about 2,200 students and has been named among the “10 Most Beautiful Universities in the World” and the “12 Most Beautiful College Campuses Around the World.”
