The popular Palm Valley Outdoors Bar & Grill property has sold for $5 million — but a staffer told The Citizen that the waterside eatery will continue operating as usual.
The sale consisted of two separate parcels that traded hands for $2.5 million apiece Nov. 1, according to public records.
Built in 1965, the 8,974-square-foot restaurant — and an attached fishing gear shop — occupy 0.82 acre, while an adjoining parking lot spans 1.65 acres.
Toni Kara, of Ponte Vedra Beach, sold the restaurant property through Pam Valley Marina Holdings LLC to Beth Brown, of Jacksonvillle, through BB Woodside LLC, records show.
Brown also bought the parking lot from Kara’s CGEF LLC.
According to records, Kara co-owns Palm Valley Outdoors Bar & Grill with Wonton Landing LLC whose registered agent and manager is Brown’s husband, Paul Rohan.
BB Woodside LLC and Wonton Landing LLC are both registered to the same address.
Palm Valley Outdoors, positioned alongside the busy Intracoastal Waterway and within view of the Palm Valley Bridge, often packs out on weekends.
The restaurant, which serves up seafood-heavy comfort food opened a decade ago.
