St. Johns County emergency crews battled a blaze at a Palm Valley home Monday night, according to a social media post.
Firefighters — assisted by Jacksonville Beach units — arrived to find flames shooting through the roof of a single-story detached garage in the 300 block of North Roscoe Boulevard.
The blaze erupted near the property’s main residence, but the home was spared.
“An aggressive attack quickly brought the blaze under control, preventing the fire from spreading to a nearby residence,” officials wrote.
Crews searched the structure and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the State Fire Marshal’s Office.
