The owners of Dick's Wings announced its closure.

Dick’s Wings, a favorite suds and sports spot in Nocatee, is closing.

“All good things must come to an end,” the owners posted to Facebook. “Unfortunately we will be closing our doors in February. But don’t feel bad for us! When one door closes, another is sure to open.”

The eatery’s prime location, perched in Nocatee’s central commercial hub, will now be up for lease.

Operators Bert and Jeanina Reinschmidt own another restaurant which remains open.

Customers of the outbound business — which opened its doors all the way back in 2013 — said they were sad to see one of the area’s longest running destinations go and wished the couple luck in their future endeavors.

“Come support our amazing staff in our final days!” the farewell post continued. “Let’s make this years Super Bowl and the days leading up to it EPIC. Let’s go out with a bang.”

Dick’s Wings is located next to Mayday Ice Cream in the bustling Publix-anchored complex.
