Families are invited to shop local and get into the holiday spirit during the 6th Annual Holiday Market, featuring photo ops with Santa Claus and The Gingerbread Man.
The market—hosted by The Coastal Home Group and Clean Juice Nocatee—will feature 14 local vendors, including boutique clothing shop Uniquely Claudia, Burning Bush Candle Co., and Sweet Buds Floral Studio.
“Rain or shine, Santa is coming to town,” Holm said of the event held outside Clean Juice. She added that there will be tents to shield attendees and vendors if the weather turns.
“The Gingerbread Man and his baker are a new addition this year for families and will provide a great photo,” Holm added.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit Pneuma Life Church’s homeless outreach efforts, and organizers are also collecting items onsite.
A donation box will be available for jackets, hoodies, disposable hand warmers, and Gatorades, among other suggested supplies.
She said the goal is to create a festive, community-centered outing while helping small businesses.
“We wanted to give back to the community by supporting small businesses and bringing families together, and we all love the season of giving and gratitude,” she told The Citizen.
There will be a live DJ and free temporary tattoos for kids. Holm said giveaways will run throughout the afternoon.
“Every hour, we’re doing a gift basket giveaway. There will also be bouquets available for purchase.”
The market will run Saturday, Dec. 6, from noon to 3 p.m.
For families looking to make a full day of holiday fun, several other seasonal events are also scheduled for Saturday around Northeast Florida.
