The poultry potentates at Chick-fil-A are mulling a new location in Bartram, according to a report.
The wildly popular chain wants to put up a coop at Race Track Road and Bartram Park Boulevard on a 2.38-acre properly that straddles both St. Johns and Duval, according to the Jacksonville Daily Record.
The Atlanta-based company wants to build a 5,094-square-foot restaurant that’s designed for 106 seats, with 16 of those in an outdoor seating area, the outlet reported.
The restaurant will feature Chick-fil-A’s double drive thru, which can accommodate up to 24 cars simultaneously.
Chick-fil-A is also planning a new outpost in World Golf Village next to the incoming Walmart Supercenter.
The restaurant at 3405 B International Golf Parkway will sit about 2 miles from big box retailers Buc-ee’s, Costco and Bass Pro Shops.
The City of Jacksonville is currently reviewing plans for the Bartram location, The Record reported.
Chick-fil-A runs more than 3,000 restaurants in 48 states, with 242 of them right here in Florida.
