That nation’s most prominent purveyor of pronto poultry is coming to Bartram Park, according to a report.
Jacksonville city officials are reviewing a proposal for a 5,094-square-foot Chick-Fil-A location straddling the St. Johns and Duval County lines at Race Track Road and Bartram Park Boulevard, according to the Jacksonville Business Journal.
The outpost would rise on 2.38 acres of vacant land at the Bartram Market shopping plaza, the outlet reported.
The plans call for 106 seats, 90 indoor and 16 outdoor, along with a dual drive-thru.

A Chick-Fil-A is also planned at an outparcel of the incoming Walmart Supercenter in World Golf Village, signaling the popular chain’s designs on an expanded St. Johns County presence.
The brand was founded by S. Truett Cathy, whose first restaurant, the Dwarf Grill, opened in 1946 in Hapeville, Georgia.
In 1967, Chick‑fil‑A hatched as a distinct brand when its first location opened in the Greenbriar Mall food court in Atlanta.
As of mid‑2025, Chick‑fil‑A operates more than 3,300 restaurants across the country, including nearly 300 locations across Florida.
