A Nashville businessman is facing sexual battery charges for allegedly assaulting a woman he met at a St. Augustine bar last November, according to an arrest report.
John Ryan Tyrrell, 51, who lives in a multimillion-dollar Nashville mansion, was picked up on a warrant earlier this month, papers state.
His attorney, Hank Coxe of Jacksonville, declined to comment on the case.

The victim, a St. Augustine resident, told investigators that she and a friend went out for dinner and drinks downtown on Nov. 22.
They met two men — including Tyrrell. The victim told him that she had a boyfriend and wasn’t interested in any romantic pursuits. Her friend, however, had an interest in his friend, and they continued going to more bars as a group, papers state.
The victim later told police that she had little memory of the evening after they visited several bars.
At some point that night, the victim and her friend said they were going back to the victim’s house.
They shared an Uber with Tyrrell and his friend, who were heading back to their Airbnb.
When the Uber arrived for pickup, the victim was stumbling and barely able to enter. At one point, she fell to the ground before finally climbing into the Uber.
“Law enforcement obtained video of the Uber ride which confirmed that the victim was highly intoxicated and/or drugged during the Uber ride,” the arrest warrant alleges.
The victim and her friend, the warrant says, were too drunk to identify their home.
Tyrrell, a married entrepreneur, then directed the driver to drive the group to his Airbnb, warrant paperwork states.
Tyrrell can be heard saying several times that he might have to carry the victim inside.
When they arrived, the victim fell in and out of consciousness and had to be helped into the residence, papers allege.
The victim later told investigators that she woke up to the defendant having sexual intercourse with her.
She told him to stop and recalled him kissing various parts of her body before losing consciousness again.
The victim said that Tyrrell was much larger than her, and that she could not physically resist.
The Uber driver was later interviewed by law enforcement and said he had concerns about the victim because of the age difference between her and Tyrrell.
Investigators interviewed Tyrrell at some point after the alleged assault.
Law enforcement later learned that after the interview, Tyrrell and his friend departed their Airbnb two days early, according to the police report.
He was arrested on March 5, and a St. Johns County judge set his bond at $2 million during a court appearance Monday.
Tyrrell was also ordered to wear an ankle monitor.
