A burglary investigation is underway after a home in the Beacon Lake Neighborhood was busted into last week.
According to the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office, the break-in occurred on Concave Lane on February 25 at 7:03 p.m.
Surveillance video shows an unidentified individual entering the property through the backyard before approaching a rear sliding glass door with a flashlight.

Investigators say the suspect cut open the screen door, shattered the glass, and entered the residence.
Deputies report the suspect spent about 15 minutes at the home, going in and out several times.
During that time, the individual allegedly removed a black file cabinet and a briefcase before leaving the area.
The individual was described as wearing a light-colored hat, black face mask, light-colored hooded sweatshirt, dark vest, light-colored pants, and light-colored shoes.
Property Crimes detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying the suspect.
Investigators are particularly interested in speaking with anyone who may have seen an unknown vehicle parked near the green gated site operated by JEA at the corner of Beacon Lake Parkway and Concave Lane between 7 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. that evening.
