The ride is over.
A longtime family attraction in St. Augustine is set to close its doors for good next week.
Adventure Landing announced it will permanently shut down on Sunday, April 12, marking the end of decades of operation at the once thriving amusement park.
“It’s with heavy hearts that we share” the closure, the business said in a statement, thanking the community for years of support and memories ranging from birthday parties to family outings and first dates.

The company said its lease is not being renewed and encouraged customers to redeem any remaining tickets, vouchers, tokens or gift certificates before the closing date.
The closure comes soon after the property formally changed hands.
On Feb. 25, a group of out-of-state investors purchased the roughly seven-acre site for $3.6 million.
While no formal redevelopment plans have been approved, regulatory filings suggest potential changes ahead.
In late 2025, the St. Johns River Water Management District reviewed a pre-application that referenced possible demolition of the existing facility.
The site remains open to visitors through its final days.
The St. Augustine closure follows the recent shutdown of another location in the region. Adventure Landing Jacksonville Beach closed permanently in October after decades of operation.
For many families, the St. Augustine park has been a staple of local entertainment, offering mini golf, arcade games and water attractions.
