Tired of dozing off during another nondescript Netflix night?
Detach from the couch for something memorable: a buzzing historic theater, a chef-prepared meal with friends, and a heartfelt story that proves life still surprises — even after 60.
The Alhambra Theatre & Dining presents “Morning After Grace,” a sharp, insightful comedy about life, love, and the second chances that arrive in the later innings. Opening April 9, it’s a warm, honest portrait of aging in the Florida suburbs.

Written by celebrated playwright Carey Crim, “Morning After Grace” follows three neighbors whose chance encounter sparks surprising connections.
When Abigail and Angus awaken with blurred memories of the prior night, their morning grows even more complicated with the arrival of Ollie, a neighbor.
The trio soon confront loneliness, the passage of time, and the potential for new beginnings.
Guest star Kevin Anderson, known for “Sleeping with the Enemy” opposite Julia Roberts, brings charm and depth to the famed Alhambra stage as part of the cast.
“’Morning After Grace’ blends comedy and sincerity,” said Managing Partner Craig Smith. “Audiences will see themselves — and their loved ones — in these characters, from their vulnerabilities to their resilience.”

One of the nation’s oldest and most iconic venues of its kind, the historic Alhambra was named USA TODAY’s Best Dinner Theater in 2025.
Its intimate setting combines chef-crafted meals with live Broadway-style performances, sparking connection and contentment with every show.
“Morning After Grace” runs for a limited engagement at 12000 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, FL.
Tickets start at $48 and include a three-course meal, live performance, and complimentary parking.
