Start your engines, Beachwalk — the pistons will soon fire on a new Ford’s Garage restaurant.
The popular auto-themed eatery got the greenlight from St. Johns County to build out a new location at 450 County Road 310 in Beachwalk, according to the Jacksonville Daily Record.
The 7,428-square-foot site will sit in a rapidly growing commercial corridor near the lagoon-based community.

The imminent Beachwalk restaurant, known for its vintage decor and casual American fare, will be the brand’s second in St. Johns County.
The project will cost $3.1 million to built out, JDR reported.
The brand entered the market in 2020 with a location at Bozard Ford Lincoln near the St. Augustine Premium Outlets.
Founded in Fort Myers in 2012, Ford’s Garage has built a loyal following by blending “prime” burgers, comfort food and craft beers with a unique 1920s service station aesthetic.
Diners are surrounded by cars and walls filled with nostalgic automotive ephemera.
The company now operates locations in seven states, including Florida.
Although its founders initially ran into trademark challenges due to the similarity of the name to the Ford Motor Company, a 2014 licensing agreement allowed the restaurant to legally use Ford’s iconic branding.
