That’s a lot of Slurpees.

A 7-Eleven convenience store and gas station in World Golf Village sold for a whopping $8.14 million this month, according to a report.

The Jacksonville Daily Record reported the eye-popping October 15 transaction — an indicator of just how lucrative the pioneering convenience store franchises can be.

The St. Augustine 7-Eleven sits on busy International Golf Parkway in the Bannon Lakes Planned Unit Development in front of the Eight Winds apartment complex.

A Fort Lauderdale based firm sold the property to an Arixaon based LLC, according to the outlet.

The now ubiquitous brand had humble beginnings in 1927, when an ice company employee added basic staples like bread, milk and eggs to its storefront as a convenience to customers who would otherwise have to travel great distances to purchase the items.

The famed 7-Eleven name can be traced back to 1946, when the company — which had expanded rapidly — used it to market its then unheard of hours of 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
