A new fast-casual dining option is slated to open in Nocatee Town Center towards the end of this month, according to a report.

The restaurant, Salata, is taking over the space previously occupied by Coastal Wine Market, which has relocated to another spot within Nocatee Town Center, next to Chophouse.

The franchise owners told Business Debut that they are targeting Jan. 26 to begin serving up customizable salads and other health-conscious options.

Salata is set to open late this month, according to a report.

The menu features more than 70 toppings, five base options, proteins, and a bevy of house-made dressings prepared daily.

In addition to salads and wraps, the restaurant will also offer soups, organic teas, and fresh lemonades. Online ordering, delivery, and catering services will be available.

The Nocatee Salata will be owned and operated by Jason and Sandy O’Hara, industry veterans with strong ties to Northeast Florida.

Jason O’Hara previously served as a U.S. Navy officer and was stationed in Jacksonville more than 20 years ago.

The couple says they are eager to return to the area with their family and to introduce the Salata concept to Florida.

“Healthy eating and staying active are important parts of our lives, and we see a real opportunity to bring that to Nocatee,” Jason O’Hara told The Parc Group. “The community has been waiting for more healthy dining options, and Salata is the perfect fit.”

Founded in Houston, Salata has grown to more than 100 locations nationwide.
