A proposal has been submitted for a 124-room Wyndham-branded hotel planned on a portion of an undeveloped property off I-95 in St. Johns County, according to project documents filed Wednesday.
The proposal lists the site as 287 Sandy Creek Parkway, part of a 33.49-acre parcel.
The hotel would be built on approximately two acres of the property, which was purchased for $6.25 million in 2005, according to county records.

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts operates a global portfolio of franchised hotels worldwide, with many of its properties located in growing suburban markets.
The filing is listed as a pre-application, meaning no formal site plan, construction schedule, or development approvals have been requested.
County staff typically use pre-applications to review basic project concepts before a proposal moves forward.
