Pastor Joby Martin’s rapidly growing Church of Eleven22 is adding two new campuses as the non-denominational ministry continues its regional expansion.

The Jacksonville-based church announced on social media that its new St. Augustine location will open Sunday at 2469 U.S. Route 1, filling a 29,000-square-foot commercial space formerly occupied by Save-A-Lot.

Just days later, Eleven22 will hold a cross-raising ceremony at another upcoming campus at 686 U.S. 17 in San Mateo.

Once both locations open, the church will count 14 campuses, including one in South Georgia.

The heavily tattooed, bearded Bible teacher—and purple-belt jiu-jitsu practitioner—founded The Church of Eleven22 with his wife, Gretchen, in Jacksonville in 2012.

“He has led a movement for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ,” the church’s website says.

Eleven22 now draws upwards of 20,000 in-person parishioners each week and maintains a robust online following, including more than 176,000 YouTube subscribers.

Martin said he named the ministry after its first worship service began at 11:22 a.m.

In addition to leading the church, Martin is an author and speaker.

His most recent book, Stand Firm: And Act Like Men, explores biblical manhood and its modern applications.
