It’s a fitting transition.
Burgeoning megachurch Eleven22 will open a new worship center in a 29,000 square foot St. Augustine commercial space formerly occupied by Save-a-Lot.
The news was first reported by the Jacksonville Daily Record and later confirmed by the church.
The sprawling new space is located at the Lewis Point Plaza at 2435 U.S. 1, which also hosts Corner Sushi, Friendly Nails, and a Rent-A-Center.
The St. Augustine location will be the non-denominational church’s 15th location. The Jacksonville-born house of worship’s primary campus is located at 14286 Beach Blvd.
Lead Pastor Joby Martin founded the organization in Jacksonville in 2012.
“He has led a movement for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ,” according to the church’s website. “In addition to providing The Church of Eleven22 with vision and leadership, Pastor Joby is a national and international preacher and teacher.”
Eleven22, which also has a location in Jesup, Georgia, is also planning another location in Nassau County’s master planned Wildlight community.

Yay! This is a wonderful church! I am so happy to see more churches being built to spread the good word of Jesus Christ.
