Mellow Mushroom has officially announced the closing date for its Anastasia Boulevard location, confirming that its final day of service will be Tuesday, November 18.
In a message to customers, the restaurant wrote: “The rumors are true… Just because this chapter is done doesn’t mean the story is over. Don’t count us out just yet, St. Augustine. There are many more chapters to come.”
The announcement marks a major step in the transition of a business that has spent more than a decade anchoring the vibrant Anastasia Boulevard corridor.

Over the years, the restaurant has served locals, tourists, and beachgoers alike, becoming known for its colorful, psychedelic aesthetic and laid-back atmosphere.

The structure includes a full commercial kitchen with hoods, a grease trap, walk-in cooler and freezer, prep areas, a large open dining room, bar seating, private event space, restrooms, and signage with two-direction access from Anastasia Boulevard.
