A pair of luxury vehicles were stolen last month in a daring heist targeting the gated Marsh Landing community in Ponte Vedra Beach, The Citizen has learned.
Deputies responded to a residence in the upscale enclave at 9:45 p.m. on Jan. 21 after the owner reported his white 2023 Range Rover had been swiped directly from his garage, according to an incident report.
The owner told deputies he was inside the home when he heard the $80,000 vehicle start but believed it was a family member.

When he went to the garage to double check, the SUV was gone.
According to the report, the vehicle had been left unlocked with the keys inside.
Home security footage captured three individuals entering the garage. Community gate cameras showed the Range Rover exiting the manned 24-hour gate at approximately 9:31 p.m.
Minutes later, a white Mercedes SUV and a second vehicle that was later reported stolen from the same community were also seen leaving, papers state.
The Range Rover’s owner used the vehicle’s mobile tracking app to relay real-time location information to deputies.
Law enforcement agencies coordinated across jurisdictions, and the Range Rover was later located westbound on Interstate 4 near mile marker 101 in Seminole County.
Deputies found it unoccupied and still running. The report noted minor interior damage, and the vehicle was towed for processing.
The report did not specify how the thieves managed to enter the gated community.
The case remains under investigation.
