If you thought surviving the St. Johns County born Florida Man Games was the hardest part, think again—because the post-event questioning is about to get much worse.
This February at the Freedom Factory in Bradenton, competitors won’t just battle for bragging rights; they’ll be facing live “interrogations” from comedy icons Steve Lemme and Kevin Heffernan.
Best known as Super Troopers’ infamously incompetent officers Mac and Farva, the duo is bringing their badge-less authority and deadpan chaos to the Games as part of the ramp-up to Super Troopers 3, set for release in 2026.

After each competition, exhausted athletes will be hauled into on-site grilling conducted by Lemme and Heffernan themselves.
These won’t resemble bland sports interviews.
Instead, competitors can expect absurd questions, merciless roasting, and the kind of straight-faced nonsense that helped make Super Troopers a cult comedy classic.
“Having Steve and Kevin at The Florida Man Games is insane to me,” said St. Augustine’s Pete Melfi, Founder and Organizer of The Florida Man Games. “They bring this twisted, hilarious sense of humor that matches the spirit of the games perfectly. Our competitors already look like they’ve been through an interrogation, now they actually will be.”
The inquisitions will capture raw reactions, shattered composure, and moments that toe the line between triumph and trauma.
In other words, the Games may end—but the questioning has only just begun.
