They have been identified as Cristian Marin, his children Victoria and Juan Camilo Marin, and his mother, Nubia Romero.
“Cristian was a devoted father, and his children, Victoria and Juan Camilo, were young souls full of promise and love,” the post reads.
Romero had traveled from Colombia to visit her family when the tragedy struck.
“This profound loss has left Paula Valderrama, Cristian’s wife and the mother of Victoria and Juan Camilo, facing unimaginable grief as she navigates the heartbreaking loss of her beloved family members,” the fundraising post states.
Marin and his wife worked as Jacksonville real estate agents.
The accident occurred last Friday evening around 8 p.m. on the St. Johns River near the Dames Point Bridge, officials said.
The 18-foot vessel overturned with a total of eight people on board.
Arriving rescue crews safely rescued four passengers, and found one person deceased near the boat.
Search crews combed the nearby waters for the three missing boaters.
The effort was called off Saturday after crews combed 270-square miles.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said one of the three missing boaters was found deceased Sunday night, and that two remain missing as of Monday morning.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation, and officials said none of the occupants were wearing lifejackets.
Funeral arrangements for Cristian, Victoria, Juan Camilo, and Nubia are pending.
The Gofundme campaign had raised more than $14,000 as of Monday.
“Your generous contributions will provide critical support during this period of immense sorrow.,” it reads “Every donation, no matter the size, will make a meaningful difference for Paula and the entire family as they try to find peace in the midst of this tragedy.”
