Feds reveal reason for raid of St. Augustine tech company office last month

The owner of a St. Augustine tech company whose offices were raided by federal agents last month has been indicted on charges of possessing child pornography, according to court papers.

Flanked by K-9 units, homeland security agents swooped in on entered the Paseo Reyes Drive office complex wearing bullet proof vests on May 8.

Agents zeroed in on Dymeng Technology Solutions, a tech consulting firm that has been in business for at least a decade.

According to federal court papers, raids conducted at Jack Leach’s St. Augustine home and the Paseo Reyes office turned up drives containing the images.

The probe began after federal agents linked Leach’s online accounts to the illicit activity.

He now faces four felony counts stemming from the raids.

Leach was taken into custody on May 25 and was ordered held without bond pending trial on May 30, court papers state.
