When hurricanes roll toward Florida, Mike Boylan is the man everyone watches—standing in the storm, calling it like it is, and always keeping his calm and cool.
Now, he’s stepping back into the teeth of a completely different kind of chaos: leading one of Florida’s wildest teams in the upcoming Florida Man Games.
Boylan, founder of the immensely popular Mike’s Weather Page, will return to the event after officially being named Team General Manager of the Pinellas County Drunk Donkeys.

If there’s anyone who can keep a team together while everything around them is falling apart, it’s the man who makes hurricane season feel like a spectator sport.
“Mike doesn’t just track storms, he runs straight into them,” said St. Augustine native Pete Melfi, founder, commissioner and spiritual leader of the now globally renowned Florida Man Games. “That’s exactly the mindset we want leading one of our most unhinged teams. The Drunk Donkeys are in very good hands.”
As GM, Boylan will be in charge of strategy, competitor selection, and readying his team for events that test athleticism, absurdity, and pure Florida survival instincts.

It’s a role tailor-made for a man who has spent years staring down Category 5 hurricanes while keeping fans informed—and entertained.
Boylan had been a fan favorite in past years, winning over FMG audiences with his mix of credibility, humor, and innate Florida grit.
Now, he’s back, ready to wrangle the Drunk Donkeys into shape just in time for the 2026 Games, happening February 21 at the Freedom Factory in Bradenton.
