The Department of Governmental Efficiency has terminated a government contract for leased space at Northrop Grumman’s St. Augustine facility.
According to the DOGE website, the Defense Contract Management Agency paid $78,878 annually for use of 4,405 square feet at the company’s offices at the St. Augustine Airport.
But that arrangement appears to have been ended.
It remained unclear Tuesday if the DOGE directive will result in the loss of any local jobs.
The DCMA facilitates the purchase of items for the Defense Department, while Northrop Grumman produces military equipment.
Spearheaded by the polarizing tech mogul., DOGE said it’s aiming to cut a trillion dollars in wasteful government outlays.
Backers have lauded the effort, asserting that federal spending has become needlessly bloated.
Critics argue that the cuts are targeting legitimate positions and expenditures.

Oh well! Moire to come. It bothers me that it might be just random.
