A beachfront home in St. Augustine once owned by the late rock Tom Petty is now on the market, listed at $3.495 million.

The property, located at 5372 Atlantic View on Anastasia Island, was built in 1988 and has since undergone extensive renovations.

Petty, the Gainesville native best known as the frontman for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, reportedly used the house as a personal retreat during his career.

The three-story residence, listed by the Newcomer Group, includes five bedrooms and four bathrooms, totaling over 3,200 square feet.

The main living area is on the top floor, featuring an open layout, large windows, and multiple balconies that provide panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Recent upgrades include a remodeled kitchen with new appliances and countertops, updated electrical and plumbing systems, and new flooring throughout. The home also has a brand-new roof and updated exterior finishes.

Outside, the property features a resort-style pool, updated landscaping, and a private boardwalk offering direct access to the beach.

The lot is situated on a quiet stretch of Anastasia Island, in a residential neighborhood known for its ocean views and walkability.

While Petty did not own the home at the time of his death in 2017, his connection to the property has drawn interest. Local real estate agents say the listing is already attracting attention from buyers both within Florida and out of state.
