There are many men who make celebrity appearances at Bold City venues — but few with the radiant star power of Curtis Jackson.
The prodigious rhymesmith and television impresario known as 50 Cent will make an appearance at the nascent Decca Livea Nightclub in downtown Jacksonville later this month, the venue announced.
“This show needs no introduction,” the venue said on Instagram. “The legend 50 Cent will be joining us for Decca Fridays on March 28.”
The event was nearly sold out as of Thursday, but a handful of tickets remain.
The 49-year-old native of South Jamaica, Queens, sold 30 million albums over his storied music career before successfully pivoting to television and film.
Decca Live’s recent grand opening was touted as a key element of a downtown revitalization campaign, with local dignitaries. — including Mayor Donna Deegan — feting its arrival.
