Popular Palm Valley Outdoors on Roscoe Boulevard takes the third word in its title seriously.

So rather than surrender al fresco dining to the weatherman, owner Paul Rohan introduced cozy igloo eating at his waterfront institution for the first time.

“We wanted to provide a different opportunity for people to enjoy being outside as the weather changes,” he told The Citizen.

Partnering with Gallo Wines, Rohan and his staff installed a pair of the spacious domes that hold 10 people apiece — and plans on adding a third.

“Each igloo has a special menu, plus a wine list and wine tastings,” he said. “There’s no extra charge.”

The indoor averse have already begun to book the bubble, and Rohan said the concept is taking off.

“The chef put together a sample menu with some items from our current menu, along with daily specials,” he said. “We also have an exclusive fire pit for the igloos in a grassy area.”

Alas, locals who temporarily trade salt life for polar Palm Valley will have to do so before the weather regains its Florida footing.

“We’ll probably keep them through the spring,” he said. “After that, we’re having a free all-day concert on the lawn at the end of March.”
