Residents of Northeast Florida will soon have a new affordable option for flying to Fort Lauderdale.
Starting July 1, low-cost airline Breeze Airways will offer a daily nonstop route from Jacksonville to Fort Lauderdale, according to a company press release.
Tickets start at $49 one-way for a limited time.

“Breeze’s new daily nonstop flights offer travelers a great option to get to South Florida,” Jacksonville Aviation Authority CEO Mark VanLoh said in a statement.
VanLoh said there’s a high demand for nonstop flights from Jacksonville to the sunny SoFlo locale.
The $49 one-way ticket price is a limited-time promotion valid for travel from July 1 through Sept. 15, 2026, and tickets must be purchased between Feb. 24 and March 2, 2026.
The airline will provide flights on a 160-seat Airbus A220-300 aircraft.
Flights include free family seating, fast onboard Wi-Fi, preferred seat options, and no change or cancellation fees.
The airline has been listed as one of Fast Company’s “World’s Most Innovative Companies” in 2025, for its performance in the airline industry.
