Two people are dead and a suspect is in custody after a early morning shooting in Middleburg Monday, according to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
Units responded to an address at Silver Point and County Road 220 around 6 a.m., according to an agency Facebook post.
Two people were found dead, and the alleged shooter was taken into custody.
The department said there was no further threat to the community.
