Alex Barnhart is an intern at St. Johns Citizen, where she explores and highlights issues shaping the St. Johns community. She has also written for the Florida Times-Union. A senior at the University of North Florida, Alex is pursuing a B.S. in communications with a concentration in multimedia journalism. Outside the newsroom, she enjoys drawing and painting, and hopes to merge her artistic passion, curiosity and love of storytelling into a career as an investigative journalist.
