Cantina Louie, a St. Johns County favorite known for its Baja-inspired Mexican street food, has been selected to open a new location inside Jacksonville International Airport’s forthcoming Concourse B.
The locally founded restaurant confirmed the plans to the Jacksvonille Daily Record last week, calling the opportunity “beyond thrilling” as construction continues on the airport’s $344 million expansion.
The new outpost will anchor the Oak & Ocean Food Hall, a centerpiece of Concourse B that will showcase a mix of national brands and Northeast Florida–grown concepts.

Last week, the Jacksonville Aviation Authority Board unanimously approved leases for Chick-fil-A, Panda Express, and two other homegrown operations—V Pizza and Willie Jewell’s Old School Bar-B-Q—to join Cantina Louie in the concourse.
They will complement existing local outposts already at JIA, including Southern Grounds and Angie’s Subs.
Founded in 2014, Cantina Louie has expanded steadily across Jacksonville and into North Carolina, building a following for its specialty tacos, cocktails, and colorful, art-driven dining spaces.
With the airport location, the company says it hopes to introduce more travelers to Jacksonville’s culinary culture while continuing its own rapid growth.
Host International Inc., JIA’s concessions operator, will staff and manage Cantina Louie along with the other food hall tenants.
The airport announcement comes as the chain prepares to open a separate Jacksonville-area restaurant at 1040 Hospitality Lane on Jan. 11, bringing its total footprint to 13 locations, including several in St. Johns County.
Concourse B is scheduled to open in December 2026 with six new American Airlines gates and a 2,000-space parking garage funded through state, federal, and JAA contributions.
