They play in Duuuuu-vaaaaallll — but Jaguar Nation extends well over the county line into St. Johns.

With the franchise at a crossroads, team President Mark Lamping will speak at a St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce breakfast next month to discuss the its future amid a flurry of off season moves.

Lamping will appear at the organization’s Economic Development Council Breakfast at the Renaissance World Golf Village on Feb. 14.

The executive will share updates on the “Stadium of the Future” and offer a prognosis for the team’s future overall.

“As president of the Jaguars, Lamping oversees all team business operations in addition to managing other initiatives driven by team owner Shad Khan, as well as representing the Jaguars in working with the City of Jacksonville on the proposed Stadium of the Future that will serve the team, Downtown Jacksonville and the entire North Florida region for generations to come,” the SJCCC said.

The Jaguars limped through a grisly 4-14 season that ended with the twin sackings of Head Coach Doug Pederson and General Manager Trent Baalke.

The team recently announced the hiring of 39-year-old Liam Coen as head coach, a tenure that began rockily with his mangling of the signature “Duval” chant at an introductory press conference.

The Rhode Island started at quarterback at UMass before launching his coaching career.
