Lettuce celebrate.
A popular salad-centric chain has inked a deal to open up a location in the Nocatee Town Center, according to a press release.
Salata Salad Kitchen, which offers up leafy plates and wraps, will open a 2,400-square-foot space later this year — the brand’s first foray into Florida.
With the booking, the planned community’s bustling commercial hub is fully leased.
Salata’s founders opened their first location in Houston in 2005 before expanding into North Carolina, California, Georgia and Louisiana. It now boasts close to 100 locations in total.
“Nocatee Town Center serves as the business and retail heart of one of Florida’s top master-planned communities,” CEO Ryan Moore said in a statement. “Salata will be an ideal destination for residents and professionals looking for a quick healthy meal.”
The chain offers up customers a cornucopia of 50 ingredients to assemble their customized creations — from avocado to black beans to shrimp.
Those items are placed atop six choices of greens — including kale, spinach, Arugula and romaine hearts.
Diners can select from 12 dressings to finalize the feast, including chipotle ranch and ginger lime.
Kids meals and soups will also be available.
“Salad has the power to fuel all of our lives,” the brand states on its site.
