While Taylor was wincing in her luxury box, St. Augustine boasted its very own Super Bowl celebrity sighting on Sunday.
Ageless rock trailblazer Alice Cooper watched the Eagles pulverize the Chiefs at the popular Odd Birds Cocktail Lounge, according to an Instagram post.
The stylish speakeasy posted a picture of the dark-maned crooner smiling alongside several star struck staff members.
“Alice Cooper watched the Super Bowl at Odd Birds in St. Augustine!” the venue exulted on its page.
The Motor City pioneer, 77, is scheduled to perform at the St. Augustine Amphitheater this coming Tuesday
“With his influence on rock & roll and popular culture long since acknowledged, there is little that Alice Cooper hasn’t achieved in his remarkable career, including platinum albums, sold-out tours and any number of honors and career achievement awards,” the venue wrote on its website.
Known for outlandish stage theatrics, the Detroit-bred pioneer is known tenderly as the “Godfather of Shock Rock.”
The Instagram post did not indicate Cooper’s rooting interest in Sunday’s pillar to post blowout.
