It’s a phrase that commands instant attention — free pizza.

A new Ponte Vedra Pizza Hut location is offering the first 25 customers who walk through their doors complimentary pies for a year — with restrictions.

The franchise will officially open on Jan. 31 at 10580 U.S. 1 N at the Shoppes of Valley Ridge.

Early birds will receive cards that entitle them to 2 free specialty or up to 3-topping large pizzas per month for an entire calendar year.

Only one card will be distributed per family, so don’t get any ideas.

The Ponte Vedra outpost is operated by the San Francisco-based Flynn Group, which owns nearly 1,000 Pizza Huts across 27 states.

The new pie palace will be open from 10 a.m. to midnight Sunday through Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

Pizza Hut has 26 locations in Jacksonville — including five in St. Johns County.
