The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall’s transformation from sleepy to sleek is nearing completion.
The venue has been undergoing a modern makeover since May — and officials said the curtain will rise once again in the coming weeks.
“What started with demolition has evolved into a thriving construction site, brimming with the energy and determination of the teams working tirelessly to bring this vision to life,” PVCH said in an update.
The revamped structure will feature enhanced seating, expanded bar service and upgraded audio and lighting systems that have been “designed to elevate the experience for artists and audiences alike.”
Patrons will also note a new merchandise shop, expanded concessions, and wider seats.
Established in 2011 on the site of a Baptist Church, the 1,000-seat auditorium has hosted the likes of Art Garfunkel, Lucinda Williams and the B-52’s.
“In its 13-year history, Ponte Vedra Concert Hall has featured over 480 unique artists, many of which return year after year,” PVCH said on its website. “Over 1,100 shows have taken place on our stage, and nearly 400,000 people have walked through our doors.”
The property, which is owned by St. Johns County, allocated $10 million to the renovation project.

I love the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall and have enjoyed so many concerts there. Keiko Matsui and Al di Meola were 2 that I have seen several times.
I am so excited to learn of these much needed renovations!
