A Neptune Beach teen made national headlines this week after his arrest for allegedly antagonizing pro-Kamala Harris voters while brandishing a machete at a polling station on Tuesday.

Caleb Williams, 18, was part of a group of teens who gathered in support of former President Donald Trump and exchanged words with backers of Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate Tim Walz.

Williams, police said, was waving a machete during the exchange and sought to intimidate two women — ages 71 and 54 — who were vocally supporting the Democratic ticket.

Facing charges of aggravated assault and improper exhibition of a firearm or dangerous weapon at his Wednesday arraignment, Campbell was offered a $55,006 bail package that would require him to wear an ankle monitor.

The judge also forbade him from going within 1,000 feet of a polling station — unless he’s there to cast a ballot himself.

Neptune Beach Police Chief Michael Key Jr. said Campbell relinquished his free speech rights when he produced the weapon.

“Saying your piece is your First Amendment right, but that goes out the window the second that you raise a machete,” he said during a Tuesday night press conference announcing the arrest.

The department released a image of Campbell taken during the incident at Beaches Branch LIbrary where he is seen hoisting the blade with a wide smile on his face.

His cohorts have not been charged, but police said the probe is continuing.
