You’ll soon have more than the john to use as an escape room.
The Game Over franchise, which features harrowing themed obstacle courses where escapees must use their wits to exit in less than 60 minutes, is coming to St. Johns County.
The concept offers a diverse range of thrilling scenarios, from the radioactive perils of “Chernobyl” to the murderous streets of 19th-century London in “Jack the Ripper” to a demented take on “Alice in Wonderland.”
“You need to hurry, follow Alice’s footsteps, pass through the Queen of Heart’s Castle unnoticed and find a way to return back to the real world,” the description reads.
The Jacksonville Daily Record reported that the Greece-based venture will open at the Bartram Pointe shopping center.
According to the company’s website, Game Over has locations in 28 countries, including France, Austria and Belgium.
The St. Johns County location will be Gamer Over’s sixth in Florida.
Game Over operates in 28 countries, including Portugal, France, Romania, Germany, Belgium, and Austria, with almost 70 locations.
“Since our inception, we have been dedicated to designing and constructing unique and immersive turnkey experiences that transport our guests to other worlds and challenge their skills and wits,” the company’s site states.
